1 of 6 EXCUSES, SURELY YOU HAVE GIVEN! (Part 3)

3rd “BUT THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE ME?” (Exodus 4.1)

Moses, like many people, was very concerned about the opinions of others. He believed that he might succeed in this mission if others believed in him. But the people did not have to believe in him but in God. This was one of Moses’ concerns and need for others to support him. And when you are worried or relying on others to do what you have to do, forget it, because surely no one will support you!

The Lord Jesus made this very clear when He said that if He was not supported, on the contrary, He was hated and persecuted … much less will we support or accept us. But He also said,

“Be of good cheer, I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33).

So this third excuse of Moses has been the excuse of many people who complain that their family, friends, acquaintances, or even society do not believe them. When that doesn’t matter, because God believes and that’s why the person must decide whether or not to obey. However, never wait for the support of others to do what has to be done.

Is that you? In everything you do, do you always seek the support of others?
